Set in 1958, The Marvelous Wonderettes takes us to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet the Wonderettes—four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts, and voices to match. Amidst a selection of classic hits from the ‘50s and 60s', we learn plenty about the girls’ lives, loves and the often humorous challenges of getting along in an all-girl band.
